Remarks for Silver Wings Over Washington
From my many years attending SWOW luncheons, I know most , if not all of you, share my love and passion for aviation. I continue to be awed by the aviation experience here at every table. My own relationship started at age six when a family friend who had returned from flying in WW II, let me sit on his lap as he taxied his P-51 around Moon Township Airport which is now the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport. It continued with building flying models.
Now I would like to share some of my own aviation experiences with you. They include some famous aviation figures as well as events that are indelibly etched in my memory.
Note: We need a count by Monday, Midnight,September 19, 2016 for the ANCC. The ANCC charges for each walk-in an additional $4 per person, save the ANCC fee and RSVP with R.N. Jurgenson or e-mail/text media450apple@gmail.com or starfleet@starpower.net.
